Shuttle Service will be provided for senior citizens and handicapped throughout the park.
Saturday, October 11, 2008, is Family Fun Day at the Kanawha County Fair.
The carnival midway opens Saturday at 10 a.m. and children under the age of 18 years will be given free admission to all rides from 10 a.m. through 12:30 p.m.
Sponsorship for the free carnival rides is being provided by the Kanawha County Farm Bureau and the Kanawha County Commission.
Following the free ride hours, the nationally-famous Nickelodeon children's program will be presented on the fair's main stage. Nickelodeon performances will be at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Each performance lasts 45 minutes. Performances are sponsored by Capitol Soil District.
