• Leadline, Red Light-Green Light! and Barn Dog Class is $5.00.
• All other classes, including the Championship classes are $10.00.
• $25.00 Stall Rental. $3.00 grounds fee per horse
if showing off the trailer.
• $3.00 gate admission. Children 6 & under are free.
• Entry office will close 15 minutes after the start
of each qualifying session.
• Current Negative Coggins required.
• Judges decisions are final.
• Exhibitors must show in a qualifying class to participate
in a Championship class.
• A two minute gate call will be enforced.
• Holds (tack/rider changes etc) must be accompanied with entry submission.
• Unsportsmanlike conduct will not be tolerated
• Academy -
Eligibility:
Academy riders are not eligible to show in any other performance division. If a rider has cantered at any show, they are not eligible to show in a Walk – Trot Academy class. Horses shown in the Academy division must be regularly used for lessons in a riding program, not just for the owner’s lessons.

Apparel: Riding jackets are not allowed. ASTM approved helmets are required.

Judging Requirements: The classes designated for riders 10 years and under will be split after five (5) riders. Headers are encouraged in these classes. If classes designated for 8 and under riders are split, they will be split as follows: 7 & 8 year olds and 6 years and under. All other Academy classes will be split after ten (10) riders.
• A safety helmet is encouraged for riders under 18. Any exhibitor may wear protective headgear without penalty from the judge.
• No Stallions in Juvenile classes
• Unless specified (juvenile, adult or age specific)
classes are open to all ages.
• Exhibitors showing in open classes are not permitted to show in Academy classes.
• Dogs must be on a leash away from the rail. Canopies and umbrellas must also stay a safe distance from the rail. We do not want to scare any horses.
• Proper attire required.

• There are classes for Academy, Juvenile and Adult riders, classes for stock seat, saddle seat and hunt seat horses, and several fun classes to help finish off a busy show season.
• Every exhibitor who enters early will be in the drawing to win a $50 gas card!  Early entry deadline is October 1st. Sponsored by Coventry Woods.
Keep your admission ticket!  $3.00 will get you in the gate but that's not all.  Your ticket could win you one of five $100 prizes from Green's Feed & Seed, Tractor Supply and more!!!  Sponsored by Kanawha County Farm Bureau.
Trainers, Grooms and Instructors ~ lend me your ears, we'll be bringing around the AM Coffee Cart with a light breakfast and beverage just for you. Breakfast provided by Tim Horton's, sponsored by Briar Patch Stables.
Our photographer has generously donated one 8x10 photograph to each of the (6) winners of the Championship classes. (Champion's choice of course).
• Neck ribbons in the Championship classes. Sponsored by Kim Aaron for Magistrate.
• We have a few spots left in our program.  You can take out a 1/3 page ad for only $25.  This might be a great time to thank your trainer!  Limited space. Call 304-937-2929. Ad deadline is September 22nd.
• And we're having a People's Choice Awards.  You don't have to be eighteen years old to vote for your favorites.  Categories you can vote in are: People's Choice Adult, People's Choice Juvenile and People's Choice Equine.  One vote per person please!  Nomination box will be at the office.  The People's Choice is sponsored by KVHA.
• People's Choice Awards include an engraved fine leather show halter & matching lead, embroidered garment bags for you show clothing and an embroidered weekender bag! Plus clothing.
